Voxitas announced today an agreement with Straitshot Communications to transition Straitshot customers to the Voxitas network. Voxitas is a national network services provider focused on Quality of Service based delivery of data and business voice services via SIP trunking. With headquarters in St. Louis and facilities in San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, and Washington, DC Voxitas stands ready to support customers nationally with their voice and enterprise private networking needs. Straitshot customers are urged to contact the Voxitas sales department at your earliest convenience to avoid any disruption in service. February 12, 2009 Dear Straitshot Customer: As I mentioned in a recent email, Straitshot has been aggressively exploring strategic opportunities to better serve our customers. I highlighted the role that our strategic partner, Voxitas, is playing in this process. I am now pleased to announce that Straitshot has entered into a formal agreement with Voxitas to migrate Straitshot customers to the Voxitas managed network. We believe this agreement with Voxitas will allow us to efficiently transition our operations as seamlessly and with as little disruption to our customers as possible. We are not requiring any customer to take advantage of this opportunity and want you to understand that you are free to explore your options. If you choose to migrate to another supplier Straitshot will cooperate with that transition. However, we recognize that the uninterrupted operation of each of our customer networks is critical and we believe that the migration to Voxitas is in the best interests of both Straitshot and our customers. As part of the transition to Voxitas or any other carrier, Straitshot is willing to allow early termination without penalty of your current agreement with Straitshot, provided the account is paid current and there are no other outstanding issues related to the Straitshot agreement. For more than a year, Straitshot has partnered with Voxitas in delivering and supporting our SIP and voice services and, as noted earlier, our partnership was recently expanded to include our data network services as well. Voxitas has a national voice and data network in place that will be able to support the majority of our customer's needs. Where possible, Voxitas has agreed to honor the same pricing model previously provided to you by Straitshot. The management of both companies is working hand-in-hand to ensure the smoothest transition possible and is working closely with our underlying carriers to facilitate the migration.
